Cloud nods and forks it over. Holding the vial makes him nervous. "You stay here, I'm going to--" Then he pauses. He wants to go back and help Gabe; who knows how long he's going to last in there? He can still hear gunshots, so they're probably not dead, but they might change at any moment. But if it's not Teresa and the others coming, he can't leave Lian here to fend for herself.

Vincent finds them first, travelling ahead on his own, moving cat-quiet on the tile with only the slight rustle of his cloak. He should get rid of the thing, but it provides a useful bluff and distraction against enemies when they cut through your cloak only to discover that you're not hurt at all. Rounding a corner, he happens upon Lian and Cloud. A quick glance--the vial in Cloud's hand, outstretched towards Lian, the gunshots inside the lab.

"Here, you can take this, then," Cloud says, relieved. "I'm going to go back inside and help Gabe."

Vincent nods and takes the vial. "Good luck."

But Cloud is already gone, disappearing into the door with the Ultima Weapon drawn.
