Vincent has been listening to the gunshots from inside the lab, a slight look of disapproval on his face. It's generally not a good idea to hold a gunfight inside a laboratory, where there are dangerous chemicals that could be spilled or set afire by a stray spark. He has half a mind to duck inside and see if he can put a stop to it right now, but his duty at the moment is to protet Lian and the vaccine.

But when he sees Teresa's antics, he actually chuckles.

For a moment, Vincent is vaguely surprised at himself. He had never thought himself incapable of laughing ever again (contrary to popular opinion), he just hasn't felt very inclined to. It sounded better than he thought it might.

"I'm right here," says Seifer, strolling up, Hyperion against his shoulder. "Ooo--that looked like it stung."

Cloud, meanwhile, ducks behind a countertop. He checks his Materia, looking for something suitable to use against Chance. Maybe using magic wasn't fair, but hey, Chance wasn't exactly the type to play fair, right? So that made it fair, using unfair tactics. Cloud decided to ignore the paradoxies of this and instead concentrate on making magic. He couldn't see his target, but that was all right. Magic didn't miss. At least, it hadn't up until now.
