More comfortable than the others, at any rate, though he feels like he has a truckload of small children squabbling in his ears. Sev is sitting shotgun, more because Cloud feels safer with him next to him rather than behind him, where he can't tell what he's going to do. But they make it to the hospital without incident, though Seifer more than once threatens to Blizzaga the others into eternity. It doesn't do any good, of course, and Seifer really can't Blizzaga them anyway; at least, not without encasing himself in a big block of ice, at this range. And Cloud too, and a car accident is not exactly conducive towards, say, survival. Gabe is stitched up without incident (and they're asked surprisingly few questions; is this sort of thing normal?), Lian is injected and cured, and it is decided that they should all go out and celebrate their victory and good fortune. And so, the next night, they find themselves in a rather posh restaurant, the kind that has candles rather than electric lights and wines costing over thirty dollars and waters dressed identically in black and white. Cloud feels just a little out of place, especially since he's wearing a suit. Vincent looks considerably more at ease in his surroundings, and Cloud wonders about that. Seifer, unruffled by the classy surroundings and apparently also comfortable with his state of dress is merely inspecting the menu. There's something slightly taunting about his familiar manner; as if he's saying look at me, I'm so much more well-bred than you! Cloud feels irritated by the other man. But he can't very well do at it, so he takes up his own menu. Then he eeps at the prices. Wow, look at the leaps and bounds of the autos! Uh, if I did anything wrong, feel free to smack me upside the head and demand a repost, or just tell me what you're going to ignore. The new plot won't be delayed by more than a couple of posts, and now Harlen can introduce his character. ^_^ Are we all well and good with this? Vincent was silent on the matter of Sev's presence, however, and he was the one who seemed to have the closest connection to the mysterious man. It was all very puzzling to the spiky-headed youth.
