I was 14, when neighbors asked me to babysit their son, boy, who was 13 and one grade younger me. I told I couldn't be sure he would be obedient enough, because earlier I sit with little children only (5-6). His mom explained me I would have all disciplinarian rights and I agreed. Johnny was good boy but he then was typical 13-year-old and such view wasn't unusual sometimes:
