 This reminds me of incident with my daughter Jenny when she was 8. She was in trouble one day for picking on her younger brother and my wife, already going bonkers with our youngest daughter only 3 months old, asked me to discipline Jenny when I got home from work.

I took Jenny to her room, had a long talk about stressing her mom out, and even though she was contrite did her usual song and dance about having to pull her panties down prior to a hand spanking over my lap. And, for maybe the 10th time, I told her she got it that way because my mom pulled my pants down when I was a kid.

The next evening, my mom came over to babysit so my wife and I could have our first "date" since the baby was born. While my wife breastfed the baby one more time before we left, out of the blue Jenny asked her grandmother if she really had pulled my pants down for spankings as a boy. My mom chuckled and told Jenny, "Yes, I most certainly did. He was very naughty sometimes when he was a boy and got many sore red bare bottoms!"

For a minute, I got red faced and silent, thinking back to the many boyhood spankings exposed over mom's lap. Next thing I know, mom was smiling at me as I snapped out of my trance. For a moment I had regressed to being a little boy again.
