Digging this one up, as it would be nice to talk about something which isn't related to Buddy Holly or The Crickets.

Two songs which I don't mind are "Sorry" and "She's So Fine". Both have a real raw rock'n'roll, almost punk quality to them. George Young's muted guitar rhythm in "Sorry" adds a hard edge to it.

Unlike many Aussie bands which tried to emulate the Mersey sound, The Easybeats could really pack a musical punch if they wanted to. I don't think even Thorpie and The (original) Aztecs would have kept up with them when they were firing on all cylinders!

It's a shame what happened to Stevie Wright.
