I understand what you are saying.

However, the truth of the matter is the group were so over exposed at that time nobody wanted to listen to their music anymore. Some Radio Stations even had 'free play' days.

Barry has said the whole situation was absurd as they had no idea what was to happen.

The bizarre situation is that the songs from Saturday were not recorded for the album itself. They had already been recorded for their a new album,

They were asked to submit some songs for the soundtrack of the new Travolta movie and so they submitted the ones already in the can.

This is another example of people deciding to hate the winners.
