Hello Roddy!

Yes.
NY is being hit hard...especially NYC.
We are #1 in cases and California is #2. Yet California actually has a larger population.

The precinct my husband works at in being overtaken by the virus and now my husband has fallen ill. (A fellow cop came back from a cruise and was the first one to become sick.)
My husband got tested today and now we must wait 5-7 days for his results.
His partner got it and now her family is suffering from it.
Her sister, mother and father have it. And the father is on a ventilator.
My husband has asthma so now we must monitor all his symptoms to make sure he doesn't end up a ventilator.
The NYPD opened a whole new dept just to handle all the cops becoming sick.

Now, I'm exposed to it and have to see when/if I begin to show any symptoms.

Other than that I've been cleaning and organizing my apt so much and starting on a writing project myself...and if I mop my kitchen floor anymore I'm going to peel away the varnish.

My job was supposed to open their doors April 1st but it appears we may not open til mid April.
Guess I'll be blowing out my birthday candle on a cupcake (if there is any food left on the shelves) by myself since my husband will probably be quarantined..lol...

Hope all is well.
