Yes, they did dread it but they learned as I taught them and they learned that as much possible it was up to the one that is going to be spanked to do their part in surrendering to their punishment, accepting their punishment (no matter how much they didn't/don't want too) no matter how scared they were/are, they do as much as can be expected considering what is about to happen to them.

I started from day one loving my boys, teaching respect for me and the spanking procedures, I spent time explaining to them what was going to happen and what I expected of them, I have also told other children that have been under my care the same.
