Subject: Training to go between! For anyone now who does NOT know! ((Everyone's old enough and has been!))

*She pauses for a moment, then grins a little. She walks a good bit away from the others, Kylith following gracefully. She turns to watch the weyrlings who can go between follow her and grins. She pats Kylith's shoulder affectionately and begins.*
"All righty then. You all know how to fly and have been practicing, but not exhausting yourselves or your dragons. Now it's time to teach you a little more. Everyone, mount your dragons."
*She swings herself up on Kylith with ease of long practice, and the golden queen launches herself as S'sha gives the signal to rise. She waits for the rest to get into the air before nodding. Kylith turns easily and soars forward towards the rim, then turns back to face everyone. S'sha yells while Kylith relays her message.*
"Look behind you! Memorize that picture of the Rim! KEEP IT IN YOUR HEADS! Do NOT look at the shadows or anything that betrays the time! If you do, you'll return at the same time and meet yourself! That is very deadly!" Kylith tells the same to the young dragons, rumbling. She pauses and waits for everyone to comply before continuing on to the actual part of going between.*

And then...

*S'sha watches, grinning, as the weyrlings take to the air with ease. She feels Kylith's pride in her offspring, and her queen reprimands her rider. You trained them. Be proud. They will make fine riders. S'sha's lips curve into a smile. Kylith swoops forward, keeping the minimum safety distance between wings, yet still letting most weyrlings hear S'sha's shouts. "Everyone! Fly down to the Bowl!" Kylith soars easily down there, the weyrlings following. Then, she turns to face them and S'sha continues. "You have the picture! Keep it in your head! Do not panic! Tell your dragons to take you between!" She knows this is the easiest and yet most dangerous part of training. Inside, she'll never forgive herself if she loses a weyrling. With a nod, she pictures the scene in her own mind. Kylith, take us between. The gold does so easily and they emerge in the air where they had just been mere moments earlier. As she sees the weyrlings succeed, she grins approvingly, pumping her fist in the air then bringing it back down in the signal to land. Kylith drifts down lightly, backwinging sweetly and landing with perfection.*

((OOC~ Resa has a point there. Read this once, reply to it, and consider yourself trained! Naturally, you'll need to practice a little to get better, buuut, you'll know the how-to now.))
