Subject: Dodging Thread - TRAINING FOR ALL WHO CAN FLY AND GO BETWEEN!

*The emerald-green hide of the dragon ripples with toned muscles as she lands gracefully, despite her deformed wing tendons. Resa sighs, salutes S'sha with a grimace, and lets out a very loud yell to gather all weyrlings who have learned to fly and go between. Anraeth echoes her rider with a high-pitched bugle. Resa paces, then rolls her eyes. "Not much to teach, but you'll need some preparation to fight Thread. No matter if K'u has taught you to chew firestone yet, you can still learn this." She half-frowns in thought. "Everyone, mount your dragons and get in the air." She takes her own orders and swings up on Anraeth. The green leans back and launches herself with practiced ease. After the first critical downsweep, she soars above and waits until the weyrlings get in place. Resa asks Anraeth to form them up, and the green complies. Form a V. Queenrider lowest, bronzes upper middle, browns lower middle, blues between browns and queens, and greens above all. Move. Resa pauses, then nods in satisfaction. She then proceeds to explain the many ways Thread can fall -or so the Records say- and how to dodge each. She makes sure to tell the young riders to immediately go between if scored, and how to effectively 'skip' into between and back to dodge Thread. When the pair are finished showing and instructing, Resa gives a signal for the weyrlings to continue practicing for a bit and hone their skills, and then get some food and rest. Anraeth soars down and lands with minimum awkwardness. The green rider slaps her dragon's neck affectionately and slides off, watching the weyrlings.**
