She snags a set of riding gear, diligently checking the harness. Seeing nothing awry, she follows Resa's direction, she fits the harness on Aghath. Trying to memorize all the information on sewing and mending, she turns to her green for help. : Can you get all this until I have time to write it down> : she asks.
: Certaintly, rider, : Aghath responds.

Alara takes the harness off and on, as instructed, until it seems she could do it in the dark. Then she backs away. Aghath leaps into the air, flying over her rider.
: I got this stuff, : Alara tells the green during the safety lecture. : Now I mount... : After snapping her goggles on, she does so, doing it correctly on the second try. After a few more times, Aghath begins to walk around. With the ordered "Launch!" the green leans back and back-wings, rising into the air. Alara catches her breath with the thrill of flying. : Free! : she yells, thrilled. Then adds, : Well, almost. :

Aghath executes the few prescribed maneuvers, practicing until they are perfect. After a bit, Aghath lands, not wanting to, but tired. : I will not be grounded! : she says, echoing her rider's earlier thoughts. : Did we do everything right? :

I said nothing of my position, let alone bragged about it." Anraeth rumbles in her throat, shifting about angrily.
