Quietly the tall youngster slips into the Barracks, watching everyone asleep or doing something semi-productive. Kadoth brings up the rear, glancing importantly about him. Noticing Kalya and Layath asleep, he grins craftily and produces his haversack filled with tender cargo. Gently placing an egg beside the sleeping young gold, he quickly scribes out a note.
