Kalya moved back and forth a little in her seat, making sure that at first, at least she was fairly balanced a-dragonback. "Ready, Lay, dear?" she asked her queen.

Hold on a moment, Layath replied, sounding slightly distracted. I'm listening to Viouth. Kalya smiled and managed to find a somewhat comfortable position to wait in while Layath finished listening to the green.

Done.
"Alright, love, ready to start?"
I am starting.
Layath took one step forward, and Kalya shifted her wait slightly to compensate. It was sort of like riding a runnerbeast, though completely different at the same time. Layath took a second, more graceful step, and Kalya soon found she didn't need to move as much. The queen continued in a circle, her steps becoming more graceful and measured with every new move.

"I think we've rather got the hang of this, Lay," she murmured quietly. I think so, too.
Good. Her wings spread, now that she had the hang of it, Layath picked up the pace slightly, moving faster across the floor of the Weyrling Barracks.
I think that's enough, Lay.
Layath adjusted her wings' position and quickly stopped, and Kalya noticed, with a (slight) touch of pride, that the gold hadn't gone flying or tripped.

"I think we've got it down, T'yin," Kalya said, notifying the greenrider.
