"Yeah, it wasn't Chuth's fault," T'gan admits, still red-faced. "I should have been more careful. And payed more attention."

"And figured out what was happening!" Akema taunts, taking full advantage of a chance to tease her brother.

*Akema, be nice,* Laffranth scolds. *It's not their fault, not really. Neither of them are experienced enough to figure that sort of thing out on their own. It took an outside observer to notice it.*

^You're right,^ Akema replies privately. ^But I'm not admitting it!^

Laffranth sighs heavily, then looks up. *Wista, over here!*

"Wista?" Akema exclaims out loud. The little green chirps merrily and lands on her shoulder, projecting images of the Impressions of her last children. She cheeps at Rage and Chaos, then sits back and looks around, bright eyes whirling with interest.
