Her dark blue partner observes carefully Kuvoth's run, and snakes his head back to peer at his rider, concern colouring his eyes. Channa? -I'm fine, dear heart. Tired.- Then you should've rested. -Oh, Seye needed food and oiling. Hush, and let's try this.- Wrelth croons soothingly, before taking off at a very fast gallop, faster than most weyrlings. -Guess those races paid off!- Channa smiles a little, hanging onto the riding straps. Flapping forcefully, the blue launches into the air, glides for a moment, before landing roughly, stumbling to the side before righting himself. -You okay?- Yes. I did not see him land very well. The slim girl winces, patting her lifemate's smooth hide reassuringly. -Can't wait till we can do this all the way!- That was harder than actually flying, I bet. She nods, before turning to D'tir, nodding to show her readiness for the next lesson. Seye, stuffed, winks into the air and settles onto Channa's shoulder, displaying unusual affection towards his human.*
