Both blue and girl had been getting restless with the wait, and Channa silently wondered if a weyrmate was all it was cracked up to be. -Of course,- she realizes mentally, -it doesn't matter.- She checks her straps, and finds them unchanged. The dark blue dragon tries a standing launch, as Viouth did, and springs into the air agilely. -Good JOB!- the slim rider exclaims, grinning brightly. They glide for about eight minutes, before Wrelth reports a certain stiffness in his right wing. -Then we descend, love.- The pair make a good, sturdy landing, before waiting till everyone else goes. Can we turn now? -Sorry dear heart, we've got to wait for everyone to normal-fly first.- I hate waiting. -So do I.-*
