Hi Sheila, My daughter is a 23 year old open champ. We have found that tanning ahead of a major is far less stressful and far more economical/natural looking. We have a shop here in town that spray tans all year long, We buy a package in the beginning of November and my daughter tans her legs gradually all month - going weekly. Then the Wednesday before O she gets the darkest tan they have and it looks great come dance day. Our whole school has adopted this method and no longer does the FeisTan march through the Marriott. There is no last minute "my tan came out blotchy" or "My legs look horrible" stress at 6 am - which is totally FANTASTIC!!!!!
