Secondly, participation is WAY down in numbers and costs are WAY up. Let’s not forget these events are fundraisers and run by volunteers! I danced way back when and no one got sashes or round awards. Everyone should just be grateful that your child had a local opportunity to dance, compete; receive feedback, etc. MY GOODNESS! Everyone needs to look at the big picture and have a little grace. I have never known the RAID teachers to be shady.
