I was also there. Everyone else was in the ballroom waiting for the comp to start. If my kid wasn’t coming out when she should have I would have gone immediately to figure it out. The parents were not in the ballroom until after 1/2 way through the second round when they let the kids come on stage. When the two late kids came out, that was the first time we saw the parents emerge. Additionally, the dancers are in PC. Dancers need to be able to follow where they are told to line up by the time they make it to PC. The dancers were U12 and U13. Not babies! The two families took advantage of RAID volunteers and judges for THEIR OWN mistake of not paying attention. Also, it’s funny the judges followed the rules when a dancer stepped off stage but not when some don’t show up???? If you’re gonna lean on the rules, as you should, then do it across the board. The late dancers should have been allowed to dance for the missed round for comments but not for points.

  • People pay hundred of dollars for their kids to go to a feis and prepare for them. They have every right to be pissed when their kids get cheated by people who break rules. (NT) -- Idk bout you but we budget for this stuff and it’s hard. I get it., 11:37:40 06/30/23 Fri
