Bc it's weak and dishonest to continue competing at a level you are no longer dancing at - tc's like to see and hear their school's name announced w/ the winning dancers. That's why they do this. And parents are happy to go along bc they love basking in that glow as well. If your dancer really isn't "ready" for OC,then what does that say about your TC? Why is she charging you for inferior instruction? And why is she ordering you to continue winning at an easier level instead of preparing your dancer for the next level?
