I had my wedding dress altered at La robe by Leah on central ave near tuckahoe road in Yonkers, and asked if they have experience with Irish dance dresses and was told yes for taking it in/letting it out or down/up. (I ended up having a custom one made a few years later). The physical location closed but they take requests online.
