Hi there James! It’s unfortunate to hear the weather has been messing up your barefooting. If your soles aren’t accustomed to heat that well, Australian climate will be hard time as well as those bindiis. When we took our Australia trip a while back my kids didn’t have issues with the streets, but bindiis were something to look out for.
