anon1001 here and since the board has been out of action, I've gone to the Reno concert and 1.25 concerts at Woodenville and the two in Las Vegas. They were all great and the one in Reno was pretty interesting in that it was right after Burning Man. The people had lots of sand on them and lots of cultural appropriation. It was hard to be offended since one guy had a kimono, made in China moccasins, dreads and mermaid colored hair, so I thought he's an equal opportunity appropriator of many cultures and I'll let the mermaids handle this guy. The hotel has, at that time of year, air hoses outside to clean your luggage before you bring it in. It was an okay resort, but like most places they charge you all kind of random and frequent fees. I'm not sure what a resort fee covers, but I didn't feel anymore special that I do at hotels where you're not paying this. The venue is nice, though. Anyway, it was a great concert and I was happy to get one in before Seattle. If I had written a review at the time it would have been: One night, six dresses, three pairs of shoes and one awesome concert.

Seattle was great, right up until the thunder and lightening started. They had us hang around for a long time before calling it quits, they sent out notices pretty quickly for a new date. Both shows were spectacular. Don't get me wrong, it's still Seattle so the second show rained, but I've been at many rainy concerts - it's getting struck my lightening where I draw the line - sorry Chris, even for you. Except for the coup de foudre that hit me the first time Chris looked me in the eyes (when there were still the merch lines). Anyway, the second show was such a blast and he kept playing for awhile and that was fine with me. Waterproof mascara, a pnw attitude and hair that looks the same no matter what gets you through.

Las Vegas was wonderful. Wynn has to be the nicest place I've stayed in Las Vegas and the Encore is a great venue. Las Vegas has its own culture and I'm always a little surprised, at first, when I come across my initial grandad granddaughter couple and it's suddenly clear they're no relation at all. When it's a casino the schedule is pretty strict, so no extra songs, but I didn't feel cheated at all.

The first night had more than a few gorgeous women in the audience. As Chris has said, that's why guys get into rock, I believe. There was one young woman in a stunning red dress and over-the-knee silver boots. I had serious boot envy, but I could never pull them off the way she did. I told my friend of the two dancing people in red, the only one I could possibly imitate is the dancing Santa. The other one looked like a Maxim model, super-gorgeous, but not tall enough to be a runway model. Chris seemed very happy that they were both there. But, you know that's never at the expense of putting on an amazing concert. Plus he was nice to others in the front too and asked the security to allow people to dance.

The second night the gorgeous woman with the silver boots was back, but not in the same outfit and honestly it's fun to see people enjoy themselves. Chris talked about having the best job. As he also said it's the last concert of the decade, so focusing on fun was a must. Although, because people were sitting down behind me, I tried not to get up unless they did. Towards the end he said to the crowd, "c'mon baby you can dance!" But, I thought: "Oh honey, you gots plenty enough" and the people behind were sitting. He was super funny and touching both nights. He mentioned something about getting oiled up and going to his tent and I wondered if he's a mind reader. Although, he also mentioned something about not having morals. I've been curious about his guilt level at times, like in Down in Flames and other songs, where he seems to think he's not been a good person. Presumably many people are prone to be hard on themselves and the Catholic faith does pitch that pretty hard, but I do wonder if he's so bad or just hard on himself? If I really did a tent thing involving lots of oil (unlikely despite my joke), I'd feel really guilty about ruining sheets. :) Despite the pit bosses potential anger, Chris did do Silent Night at the end of the second night and I love him for it. He said it's like a prayer and had people sing along. I mentioned a long time ago, that's the only time I sing along at concerts. It was a beautiful end to the concert and a highlight of mine for 2019, for sure.

Anyway, that's my brief synopsis of my recent concerts. Well, to quote Chris, I guess like many here, this love will last and I continue to attend concerts and pack too many shoes. Happy New Year baby and best wishes for the new year to you all.
