First I would ask that you think of that 9 year old boy as your son and not your stepson. Wetting his pants may very well be caused by the tension and anxiety your son is feeling from all the spankings he is getting. You didn't say that you spanked him for wetting his bed. Do you?

I hope you follow up on this for the sake of you son and his bare bottom. Sadly this was not available when my child was growing up and wetting the bed most nights. We never spanked our child for wetting the bed though or for accidents during the day either.
