Finley is the Times national college basketball beat writer. In all likelihood, he has probably seen Fordham two or maybe three times, at the most. I don't believe he ever covered a Fordham game before this article, maybe the St. John's game. So we are talking about someone who is really not very familiar with the team or the program at all. It's not like he covers the team on a regular basis.
