"No way can you say that VBK is recruiting"..I wonder how you come to this conclusion, especially since his first recruiting class is only sophomores at this point. I believe Gansey was signed by Baron, but he's one sophomore who has been terrific. Beyond that, the jury is out on a lot of the young players and Van Breda Kolff's recruits. His freshmen strike me as typical Bona recruits: not necessarily really talented, but crafty, smart, and they get things done. One of the front court JUCO's he brought in has had a pretty good impact- the kid from Georgia. Beyond that, I'd say the jury's out. Two newcomers are starting- the JUCO, Terrell, who is averaging 8 and 5 boards, and a freshman, Ahmad Smith, who is averaging about 5-6 points a game. So how is VBK, "not recruiting", and what is your definition of "recruiting". Would Jim Baron have not been recruiting because he brought in an unheralded player who wasn't recruited by anyone?
