Subject: Band Idea

Everyone knows we need a band. It could do wonders to the atmosphere of Pepsi Arena, and possibly lead to more ticket sales. We also know that Siena College is unwilling/unable to provide one for us, or it would have already happened.

What if the alumni and friends of siena basketball funded a band? How much would this cost for say a 15 piece band with some trumpets, trombones, drums, saxes, etc?

What if we contracted with a high school? Would they do it for free if we provided them with tickets to the games, transportation, uniforms, etc.

I would be willing to donate $50 a year for the cause, if we had 200 people do this would 10,000 be enough? Would Siena college subsidize the effort? It would be nice to wake up the old folks and counter the boring PA sounds
