Fairfield looses 93-86 to Manhattan...Flores 44 points...Gonzo calls it "greatest game he has ever been associated with"..lots of fouls...didn't get much more...just returning from what must have been the antithesis (for me- at least) with a 81-65 yauner (or is it yawner?)..dominant impression...I feel sorry for the volleyball team: selling programs throughout the stands with 10 minutes left in the game...kinda reminded me of Moonies..(Don't come home until you've solf all of the roses!!!)...kinda real neat looking warmups the Dance team wears..not bad for a few (when school is in session) appearances (and I suppose someone will suggest H o U r S OF PRACTICE)...1.50 FOR A SMALL CUP OF COFFEE..on a night when it was 5 degrees and snowing out...I love my saints!
