Stags only had 12 fast break pts, compared to Saints 6. IMO, that really wasnt the difference. Alley oops off of inbound plays, dribble penetration by Stag guards leading to easy buckets and poor shot selection on the offensive side of the ball (with little or no inside game) is what did the Saints in. Garcia, Gai and Deng scored most of their points in the 2nd half and none, that I can remember, off of fast breaks.

You're just not going to see too many games where a team shoots 69% for a half and loses, especially when the opponent shoots 35%.
