There are teachers Unions in the UK - there are many differences from teaching in PNG.You might find it interesting to read an article about what South African teachers found when they started teaching in UK schools.

There are a lot of differences between UK and PNG (apart from the weather!) For example - in the UK - we have very little in the way of Razor wire - but on the other hand most parents won't let their children walk to school.

Food - the markets aren't nearly as cheap - and it is harder to grow vegetables - but supermarkets are more similarly priced.
