It is true of all what you have mentioned and there is no doubt about your points.Thank you

I come from an island in Milne Bay Province called Sanaroa. As a teacher I have been on holiday many times during christmas breaks and have observe that the people and the children and the teachers in school still struggle in education.Children in schools have not been supported in many ways to be educated as there are many barriers you have mentioned stopped them from quality learning.

If these are not addressed, then there will be more drop outs because the quality of education can not provide the vital nutrients of quality learning to meet the changing society.

I suggest that schools have to work together with parents, business houses, churches, and education department to help the children and i mean work collaboratively.Schools programs should evolve around like a cycle or integrated.

Next do away with many of the exams entry levels and stick to one.

Stick to one system of education for 15-years before changes. This means that reseachers collecting data and statistics of the outcomes on the education system before , during and after the change have to be analysed and interpreted well.

The planning and imlementation of education system today i believe is the cause because it was implemented quickly without critially analysing the outcomes conisitently for many years.

I also guess that people who have graduated from the schools should work togeher with the community and to help and become inspirations to others and the kids.Building open dialogue with the public to input constructive ideas.

Teachers also need to have that passion of teaching and learning to bring it with them new and wider experience to pass to the learners in the remote islands. Not just enjoying and relaxing out in the remote areas and the cool community atmosphere.

To the community get up now and fight for the childrens' rights to education and better learning. This means that if the teacher is not performing, why keep them for long ask the board and together ask the education to transfer out the lazy teacher.

Steven
