Subject: Extremely plain looking women

I was going to start part 4 with a group of women who didn't make my cut for sightings but thought I would make a seperate post about this.

In the tent there was a group of 3 women all smoking yet they were plain looking to the extreme and their smoking did nothing for me. Two looked like they were in their 50s and one looked around 30 and could be a daughter of one of the other two. The young one actually had great smoking style, she did everything right but I still felt nothing.

I would describe this extreme plain look as no makeup at all, a butch boyish looking haircut, frumpy clothes and always the worst looking glasses you could find, nothing stylish in the least. These women have butter faces and I don't think it's so much bad genetics as a total disregard for trying to look pretty. These women often have deep voices and a masculine vibe but are in fact straight. Here in WA this look I am describing is extremely common among white women, most of these women are married and absolutely not lesbian even if I believe their whole presentation is lesbian influenced. It's a cultural thing, the mom doesn't care about looking pretty and the daughter continues that tradition. I should add that by age 40 or so these women look like old grannies.

Unlike WA where the this extreme plain look is the norm among white women, it was more of a mix in Montana. There were many attractive ladies there but this ultra plain look was definitely in the mix. I never saw women like this in Las Vegas or on my many trips to the L.A area. Now I'm wondering if this look is the norm nationally and I just happened to grow up in a city where it didn't exist (or was very unusual). Or I wonder if this is a common look only in the Northwest? Montana is where the NW begins and perhaps this is a transition area. OR perhaps this is a 21st century thing. Maybe more women now than in previous decades are rejecting any effort to look pretty, sexy or feminine. What are your thoughts on this?
