K'ndelek looks away, feeling M'takua's hatred start to rub off. Just like he said it would. He grits his teeth, then bites on his toungue. He finally gets the feeling to leave after drawing blood. Dimath quietly informs him of what Greith told him and he feels a sense of dread wash over him. What was happening? Now he can't leave M'takua alone to think it over. The only other person he knows is Kilia and he couldn't talk to her without M'takua looming in the back of his mind. He feels tears sting his eyes, becoming glad he wasn't looking directly at him. His voice is low, but steady and confident, "M'takua, what I saw wasn't a lie. What you think about yourself is. I don't care what you think of me. I'm your friend and I refuse to leave you. The feeling may not be mutual, but be assured; you'll always have a friend in me." He looks up at the dragons circling in the sky. Tears burns his eyes, blearing his vison so they're only a never-ending circle of colors. Having a one-sided friendship would be hard, but he knows he won't give up on him. He can't. Not because he wants to change him, only M'takua can do that. It's because K'ndelek needs a friend, too. Not just someone like Kilia, but a friend he can do anything with. ~I'm here and I'll never leave you. Ours will never be one-sided~ 'Oh, Dimath. If only you understood. I need human friendship, too.' He blinks away the threatning tears and lets his head sag and shoulders slouch. Man this was taking a lot out of him.

(OCC: Daz okay. It gave me all this time to come up with this sob story. *points upward* I figured he'd reply something like he did...managing to make you feel sorry for K'ndelek yet? It's nearly ripping me in two...or maybe that's just hunger...hmm...)
