In my opinion, lying is just another form of disobedience. A girl does not do what is (rightly) expected of her.

There is probably no single answer to the question of what the right punishment should be. I would probably have just been given a few more blows. But I never dared to be openly disobedient. Of course, I did tell little white lies from time to time, mostly without being found out.

Louise,
When my oldest daughter was a Junior in high school, she did exactly that. I have a tracking device on my phone for all my kids, so I know where they are at all times. So, when she got home at her designated curfew time, I asked her a few questions and knew she was lying. She received a good bare bottom hand spanking, then a soaped mouth and then a bare bottom paddling. She was also grounded.
