That year my Dad spanked me once and my Mom 2x. I’m 22 now. I hated them growing up and I got a good many but it slowly taught me there are consequences for bad choices and often painful ones. I have expressed my opinion many times here that if an older teen, like way older is spanked, then they with want it or it’s fake. I don’t understand enough about receiving spankings as an adult unless they are for fun or because the person receiving the spanking really wants it. Again, I’m not being mean about this, I just don’t know much about it.

My 17- and 19-year-old daughter are still spanked when needed. They were both spanked a hand full of times last year and unfortunately, they were both spanked this evening. In our Christian church, we believe that you are still a child until the age of 21 and should be spanked when needed. I believe in that and once they reach the age of 21, their spankings and discipline will stop. My sister has a 22-year-old daughter and in college. Right before her exams she always goes home and asked my sister to spank her as it releases all her stress and is able to do well on her exams. The spanking is just like the spankings she received when she was spanked for her disobedience with hand and brush on her bare bottom.
