80% of spankings are boys. Reason is likely male aggressiveness, and females being caregivers. Most families will tell you that the boys get spanked every week or so; the girls get spanked, but a lesser total. I remember in school that boys openly did very stupid things, with girls busy doing sitting and whispering. It takes more work to get boys to adulthood.
