That’s smaller than mine…more designed for over-the-knee use. Mine is from
Cane-iac, a bit larger, and works well with the recipient bent over a sofa or chair, or lying over a stack of pillows across a bed.
I’m sorry your paddle is on public display like that…seems a bit over the top to me. My mentees had a special place where their instruments of correction were kept…away from prying eyes - and their inevitable questions, but a place where they’d have to see them, and handle them, each and every day, as a reminder of what happens when poor choices are made, and where they were also reminded of where and how they’d be used…
You see, those implements were kept in their panty drawers, and they were made to remove their outer clothing themselves, were lectured - wearing only proper underthings, if they knew what was good for them, and were them made to fetch the required implement themselves…assume the requisite position…and would then hear themselves ask, in a trembling voice…”Pplease, Ssir…pplease ppull mmy ppanties ddownn…”😭😭😭
