Lou, thanks for sharing such a heartwarming memory. I can see how that would make an impression on a young girl. Was there a reason Emma got her spanking in front of you despite her pleas for privacy?

L: My mother and I were over for a visit. Like my mother, my aunt did not believe in delaying discipline. I remember being upset and yet fascinated to see an older girl getting a spanking.
