Personally, I think this whole topic should be dropped. Reverse engineering, copying ideas, etc. etc. happen all the time in the real world, and it can't be stopped. Furthermore, I don't think that it would be possible to patent any of the PCC mods because you can't patent an already existing product (the Color Classic) and besides, Apple would chase you with a stick when they found out what you were up to.

I encounter the same thing all the time with the MacQuarium site I run at Applefritter. I came up with my own plans for it, but I admit that I, like everyone else like me, basically reverse-engineered the MacQuarium. I used to be bothered by people selling MacQuariums that used my plans, but I simply have no control over the matter. I've simply decided to keep my focus on helping people build their own MacQuariums, not bothering myself to "go after" MacQuarium sellers, and I suggest that everyone here do the same regarding the PCC.
