Subject: iMac - ATX adapter - Made it.

Hi, I make a circuit card for converting the tray-loading (233mhz-333mhz) iMacs to ATX power supplies.

I sell the assembled card and a longer cd-rom cable for $80, or $130 for two, but for those who are enterprising and can make their own cards (wires and shrink tubing is too unreliable)

I give the unpopulated board design away for free- with the only requirement that any board you make, or website you make featuring the conversion, give me credit by name.

pictures of the board are here:

and http://homepage.mac.com/lvmarks/.Pictures/imachack/back.jpg

errata on the card:
The NPN transistor that is used needs to be placed opposite the way the sideways 'D' indicates. the resistors used are 1k and 2.2k. the 2.2k goes in the place labelled 3.3k (3.3k was found to be borderline too high a value.)

Thanks,

Victor Marks
