UPDATE:

I tried removing the IDE cable completely. Same error at the end of startup.

I tried reversing the IDE cable based on my understanding of Stuart Bell's and Alexey Danilchenko's IDE page. Same error at the end of startup.

I corrected the IDE cable, disconnected the SCSI drives and installed an IDE hard drive running OS 8.0 pulled from the 6300 where I got the logic board. Same error at the end of startup.

That tells me that it MUST be the analog board on the CC, which worked fine before the power modification (removing the J19 and adding the "bridge" to S1). So... was I not supposed to remove J19 completely? Or is there another connection that can regulate the power needed from S1?

Any ideas before I scap this CC...?

Thanks!
