Subject: more 66Mhz 68040 questions

I have found some 40Mhz 68040 processors for sale. The say:

XC68040RC40M on them. I guess the "40M" is for 40Mhz

Some guy on ebay says he has some 66Mhz full 68040 CPUs for sale.

First off, is that true? How fast did 68040 processors go anyway? And second, is the 66Mhz processor pin compatable with the 40Mhz processor?

I am thinking that if I can get a 66Mhz 68040 for about the same price as a 40Mhz, maybe I will give that a try.
