I'm a bit puzzled, actually. Let me tell you what I know and then you can fill in details.

The 62/63xx series had a couple different modems. I think 14.4 and 28.8 were the only two, and the 28.8 was pretty rare - it only came with the last models in the series, the 100 and 120 MHz ones. It doesn't appear that this modem ever shipped with the 52/53xx Macs, as those were mostly intended for educational (and thus networked) use anyway. The x2/x300 series have a Comm Slot, and that's what the modem was installed in when it was present.

The 6360, x400, and x500 all have a Comm Slot II. They also shipped with internal modems, but these were pretty much exclusively of the 28.8/33.6 variety. I don't think any of them shipped with 14.4 modems and EveryMac backs me up on this.

The LC 575 has a Comm Slot, not a Comm Slot II. Comm Slot II cards will not work in a Comm Slot. If you have a modem from a 6360, since this modem uses the Comm Slot II interface, it will NOT work in a Mystic.

The 28.8 modem from an x200 or x300 *besides* the 6360 is the one you want, and I have no idea whether or not it is the same height as the CSII 28.8 variety.
