I have never built a Mystic myself but after 4 PCCs, one in construction, and reading this forum for a while, I can say it might be, in my opinion, easier for you to do the VGA mod and just reinstall the OS. Once you do the VGA mod and get the sense wires right, format the hard drive and reinstall the OS, the logic board really thinks it is in a 575. When you run the OS installer, it will install all of the LC 575 components (whatever they are) and the computer will think it is an LC 575. You will also get a fresh start and clean drive. That's just my two cents on the whole thing.
Scott
