The Sonnet G3 400/1MB arrived today. I decided to put it in a 5500 to test it. I installed it first, and it booted like a normal 5500/225. I installed the extension and it locked on boot. I removed the driver and the card, and re-installed the driver. I reset the CUDA chip and installed the card, and it worked great. (I read the instructions)Anywhay, I couldn't stand it, so I carved out the center of my CC's chassis, like John Stocker's only not as neat. I installed the driver, reset the logic board, and installed the card, and it locks up when it gets to the Sonnet extension, just like the 5500 did. I hooked the hard drive up to an external power supply, to draw less power from the analog board, and I had the same results. I swapped the logic board from the 5500 into the CC and I get no video, just some squigly lines at the top of the monitor. If I put the old board back in the video is fine. Any thoughts? Help!
