I have already started on the secondary power supply. I am going to use a PS from a LaCie external hard drive. It's small, the AC input is plugged into the board, not soldered. Also it has a fan and a power LED. I was going to use a PS from an LC III, (I have a nearly in-exaustable supply), but I think this will work better. (although the LC PS is completely enclosed in metal, so I'm sure it's much more shielded, and hence, puts out less RF noise.) I just need to buy a relay and I should be good to go. We ordered a Sonnet upgrade card for a 6500 at work, and we are going to try it in the PCC first. I was able to get the machine up and running with a Dayna PCI ethernet card and no 3.3 v regulator. Later the picture tube went dark but the external monitor was fine. I removed the card and it worked fine. I also powered the HDD from an external PS and it worked fine as well. I was considering installing a new iMac CD Rom in the top, near the tube, so I could have the toaster loading effect, but I don't thinks it's going to fit. I might lose the FDD and use a 2.5 " HDD instead. Do you know of any cures for an extremly loud flyback transformer on my analog board?

Thanks for the help and encouragement!

Jeff
