Well, I after reading previous posts, I tried to save my CC. I connected the 20 pin to the 3 pin and in a matter of seconds there is still life in my CC!

So, if you are missing J78/J79, isolate 8 pin in ZP1, connect it to 10 pin in ZP1, and then connect 20 pin to 3 pin near the front of the analog board.

I am experiencing barrell distortion on the sides, so I tried adding a capacitor at CL26. The only capacitors that I have are labeled as .01uF at 2KVDC maximum. Without knowing a whole lot about capacitors, I tried it and it didn't really help. Any information on where to find the right capacitors would be helpful. Is .01uF the same as 1nF/1000pF? Is .02uF the same as 2nF/1000pF?
