Subject: Color Classic Screen Adjustment HELP!

I just acquired a Mac Color Classic at a yard sale and the screen image after the computer is booted up (OS 7.1) is very wide and way too narrow. Also there is a green hue about 1/4inch thick all around the screen image. How can I adjust this? There must be some sort of adjustment inside the computer to set the width and height as well as somehow reduce or eliminate the green hue. I'll try to describe this more accurately. The screen image is basically out to or past the edge of the screen in the horizontal direction. In the vertical direction the height is too narrow with almost an inch of black above and below the screen image. The green is about a 1/4inch border just outside the image before the black. I want to adjust size and also get rid of the green. The green does minimize when I adjust the contrast all the way up but is still not gone. How can I fix this or (hopefully not) is this a sign of a shot monitor. I know the history somewhat of this machine and it was really pretty lightly used. HELP!

Fred
