This is a great story with an even greater ending. Thanks for writing it and thanks for your part in making it so memorable for Jay. Being Texans, you probably should get him a rifle rack for the back window to make it a real Texas truck and fulfill the stereotype. He can store that fancy rod & reel of his there.

It sounds like you got a birthday you deserve. You are a great friend and example to all of us. I hear that driving a stick shift is pretty easy once you get the rhythm. Take good care of it and don't crash it so Brody can have something nice to drive when you go off to college.
